Dorothy L. Tarby

Dorothy  L. Tarby   Mrs. Dorothy  L. Tarby, 83, of Elizabethtown, PA passed away Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 peacefully  at Masonic Village, in Elizabethtown, PA.   Formerly of 1114 Napier St., and the 6500 block of Keystone St. in Philadelphia.   Mrs. Tarby was born in Phila, PA on August 24, 1928, the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Schell) Adelsberger.  She worked for the Federal Government as a Supply Clerk for 28 years retiring in 1993.   She is the loving wife of Frank R. Tarby. They have been married since 1949 for 63 years.     She is survived by Daughters:  Joan Schweiger (Robert) and Karen Gold (Mark) and Sons:  Frank Tarby, (Patricia) and  Robert P. Tarby. Sisters Jane Weisen and Brother William Adelsberger. She is also survived by her 5 loving Grandchildren; Samantha, Amanda, Eric (Jessica), Brandon and Nicolette.   Her Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 AM Thursday 8/30/12 at .St. Christopher Church 13301 Proctor Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19116, where a visitation will take place from 10:30 to 11:25 AM.   Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
