Douglas Robert Green

Douglas Robert Green, age 36 of Newark, DE, passed away on Thursday, July 10th, 2014. Doug was born in Wilmington, DE on December 30th, 1977, a son of Jan Foth and Frank Douglas Green.  Doug was a graduate of Glasgow High School,  He worked for Chrysler, ATK and was currently employed by The Boeing Company as a sheet metal mechanic with the UAW 1069. Doug was an avid sports fan with an amazing ability to impress others with his love and understanding of sports. Doug will be remembered as a compassionate and loving man to all whose lives he touched. His loving heart and mind were always centered on his family and friends. His greatest joy was spending family time with his wife, son and daughters. Doug is survived by his wife, Beth and his three children Kayla, Amber and Brayden: his father Frank (Doug) Green and wife Frances; mother Jan Foth and partner Jack Hansbury; brother Dan Green and wife Kathy; paternal grandmother Shirley Green; maternal grandmother Carol Winward and husband William (Biddy) Winward and several in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Doug was preceded in death by his grandfathers Jon Holmquist and Floyd Green.
