Dr. Richard C. Watters

Dr. Richard C. Watters   Dr. Richard C. Watters, 63, of Lansdale passed away Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 at his residence.  Formerly of Tacony in Philadelphia. Dr. Watters was born in Phila., PA on September 8, 1947, the son of the late Robert E. and Isabelle Maxine (Mowers) Watters.  He served in the U.S. Marines as a Lance Cpl in the Vietnam War. He earned the National Defense Service Medal.  Dr. Watters was a Doctorate of Psychology and a teacher at Philadelphia Community College for 22 years, a member of AA for 37 years and in the book of Who's Who in Philadelphia.     Father of Stephanie, Jessie and Gregory. Loving brother to Isabelle (Joan) Szerlik and Robert. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Sunday January 9, 2011 from 7-9 PM   and Monday 8:30-9:30 AM   at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. Phila., PA 19135.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great upper Church 10 AM on Monday January 10, 2011.  Interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne, PA.
