Drew Wood Hood

Drew Wood Hood passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Jefferson- Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born in Norristown on September 10, 1960 to the late Charles K. and Elizabeth Jane (nee Wood) Hood. Drew was a golf professional for 14 years at General Washington Golf Club and stayed on when it became The Club at Shannondell.

Drew is survived by a son, Drew W. Hood Jr.; a daughter Lisa Wissert (Tom) and a brother, Dale C. Hood (Lindy); 6 grandchildren, Jorge, Liam, Torrence, Frankie, Rylie and Victoria.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm followed by a service at 7 pm at Chadwick’s, 2750 Egypt Rd., Audubon, Pa 19403.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Drew’s name may be made to the Patrician Society, 121 E. Chestnut St., Norristown, Pa. 19401.
