Edgar Joseph Bingham

Edgar Bingham, 83, of Jenkintown, PA formerly of Philadelphia, Pa after a long and courageous battle with cancer died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 6, 2018 . Beloved husband of Joanne M. Bingham (nee Osbourne). Loving father of Darleen Blesi, Sherryn Anderson and Diane Gwiazdowski and Jeannie Bielawski. Stepfather to Andree Swartz and brother of Patricia Kane of North Carolina. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. Ed was an artist and loved to draw. In addition, he enjoyed making people smile with his constant jokes and loved dancing the cha cha with his smooth style. Ed also loved to play black Jack. He was a graduate of Martin School for the Deaf and Dobbins Vocational High School in Philadelphia. Ed retired from Sparks Design and Exhibits in Philadelphia. Following retirement he was a part time crossing guard in Jenkintown along with his wife, Joanne. Ed was an avid walker and believed that if you laugh more you will live longer. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, June 13 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Avenue, Jenkintown, PA and funeral mass 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception BVM Church.
