Edmund J. Maloney

Edmund J. Maloney, Age 85, of Collegeville passed away peacefully on August 8, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas where he lived with his son. Born in Norristown on March 6, 1929 to the late Thomas and Frances (Niefergold) Maloney. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Coonan) Maloney. He was a prominent business man in Eagleville, PA where he owned and operated Maloney Auto Body. He was a former Lower Providence Township supervisor. He will be remembered for his good character and kindness to others.   He is survived by 7 children, Kathleen Lovett (James), Michael Maloney (Kathleen Wesler) of Texas, Patricia Tomaselli (Pasquale), Sharon Homa (Andrew), Terrence Maloney, Kevin Maloney (Kimberly Ingham), Edmund Maloney Jr.,  23 Grandchildren,       17 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson.   Relatives and friends are invited to a mass of Christian burial at 11 AM Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at St. Eleanor Church located at 647 Locust St. Collegeville, PA 19426. Family will receive friends from 9 AM to 10:50 AM at the church.
