Edna Mary Weiszer

Edna Mary Weiszer (nee Williams) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, May 16, 2024. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Elsie Louise (Hoege) and George Edward Williams Sr.

Edna loved to help others always donating her time. She was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Leo’s Church and Our Lady of Consolation Church in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.

Edna was the beloved wife of William for 50 years. Loving mother of Michael, John(Shannon), and Christopher. Grandmother to Taylan, Bryson, Koen and Addyson. Sister to Anna Moffett, Louise McLaughlin, George Williams, Cecilia Hagy, Howard Williams, Walter Williams, William Williams, Michael Williams, the Late Catherine Nieves, the late Ruth Spencer, and Patricia Giamboy.  Edna will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, May 20th from 6-8pm at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. Bensalem, PA 19020. A second viewing will be held Tuesday, May 21st from 9:30-10:45 AM followed by her funeral mass at 11 AM both at Our Lady of Consolation Church 7056 Tulip St. Phila., PA. Her interment will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
