Edward M. Agee, Jr.

Edward M. Agee, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at the Hospice Unit at Einstein Montgomery Medical Center in E. Norriton, PA. He was 61. Ed was a resident of Norristown, PA and was formerly of Bridgeport, PA. He was a foreman for numerous companies in the area and was a Monacan Indian. Born in Norristown, PA on March 9, 1955, he was a son of the late Mary M. (Johns) and Edward M. Agee, Sr. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 20 years, Susan M. (DeNolfi) Agee; a son, Edward J. Backetti; 6 step-children; a granddaughter, Gianna M. Backetti; 20 step-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, James Agee and his wife, Martha, Teddy Agee and his wife, Joanne, and Earl Agee and his wife, Tina; 3 sisters, Barbara Hunsicker, Joyce DeOrzio and her husband, Daniel, and Linda Agee, a sister-in-law, Carmella DeNolfi; 7 nephews and 2 nieces. Ed’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Goodwill Fire Co. Social Hall, 304 Bush St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ed’s memory to the American Heart Association, 5455 N.
