Edward Joseph Culp Sr., of Norristown, PA passed away peacefully on May 20, 2015. He was born on October 6, 1934 to the late Warren and Margaret Culp. He was the loving husband to the late Betty J. Culp. Edward served proudly in the Korean War from 1951 – 1954 and received many awards. He was a wonderful father and in his spare time liked to work on cars. Edward drove trucks for many years. After he retired he worked as a crossing guard for Norristown School District, he retired after 10 years of service in 2014. Edward is survived by five children; Brenda (Kevin) Jeffers, Mary (Joseph) Pasqueal, Carol (Mingo) Matias, Edward Culp Jr. (Karen), and Sharon (William) Slingluff. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all. Family and friend are invited to his viewing from 9:30 – 11 AM followed by a memorial service at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home P.C. 101 North Park Ave. (Route 363) Trooper, PA 19403.
