Edward Douglas Reagan, a beloved resident of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2024, following a brief illness. He was born on December 8, 1968, to Edward Joseph Reagan and Hazel Reagan (Dorethy).
Edward, affectionately known as Ed, leaves behind his devoted mother, Hazel, and his sister, Dodie Reagan Corretini, along with her husband, Frank Corretini.
Ed graduated from Norristown Area High School in 1986 and went on to earn his degree from Drexel University in 1991. Throughout his professional career, Ed dedicated over 25 years to the enterprise risk management sector. He was known for his expertise in business continuity program development, management, and governance.
A Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Ed was an active member of the Association of Continuity Professionals and the Contingency Planning Exchange. Beyond his professional life, Ed was deeply involved in the Libertarian political party, his local community in Easton, and Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club. He was also a staunch supporter of the NRA and engaged in meaningful discussions on social media platforms.
During his leisure time, Ed took immense pride in cultivating robust vegetable gardens he personally planted in Louise Moore County Park Community Garden. He relished every aspect of the hands-on work, from nurturing the seedlings and tending to the flourishing plants to preserving the abundant harvest through hearty canning sessions.
A fervent Philadelphia Eagles devotee, Ed held season tickets for his beloved team and enthusiastically embraced the pregame tailgate tradition, come rain or shine. Like any true Eagles fan, he meticulously prepared gourmet tailgate fare to be savored pre-game in Lot D of the Wells Fargo Center, surrounded by his spirited and sizable tailgating crew.
He also had a profound love for live music, particularly Grateful Dead tribute bands and Dead & Company concerts. Ed relished spending time on the beaches of Sea Isle City and Brigantine, New Jersey. He also helped to orchestrate annual hunting excursions with a cherished circle of close friends and spent weeks prepping meticulously crafted daily menus and procured provisions, accommodating various preferences and dietary restrictions to ensure unforgettable experiences and satisfied bellies for all.
Known for his outspoken nature and unwavering principles, Ed was never hesitant to share his viewpoints, even if they diverged from public opinion. He was a vibrant presence in the lives of those who knew him, leaving behind fond memories of his warmth, generosity, and spirited debates.
Ed is preceded in death by his father, Edward Joseph Reagan. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
