Edward F. Frailey passed away peacefully on Friday, June 29, 2012, at Neighborhood VNA Inpatient Hospice in West Chester, PA, after a courageous battle with cancer and Parkinson's Disease. He was 79. Mr. Frailey was a resident of Jeffersonville, PA and was previously of King of Prussia, PA. He was a 1954 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a BA in Economics; there he was a member of the swim team and Captain of the Golf Team. Ed worked as a District Sales Manager for 20 years for a division of B.P. Chemicals, retiring in 1992. Mr. Frailey was honorably discharged from the US Army â€" Beale AFB California in November of 1962.Edward was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA and SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. A few of his many civic accomplishments were the following: one of the original founders of the Upper Merion Senior Service Center, where he served as director; the Upper Merion Republican Committee, where he served as Chair; the Upper Merion School District Student Loan Committee; the Crescent Lake Board of Directors; and he was a past President of the University Club of Bethlehem. Edward was an avid golfer and he loved gardening. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family in the Pocono's. Ed was a gentleman that could always be counted on to lend a helping hand when asked. He always made you feel comfortable and at ease. Ed was a devoted husband and father, a kind, gentle spirit who was known for his quick, dry, witty sense of humor and his one line zingers. Some of Ed's favorite things were chopping wood, plowing snow, chain sawing trees, and people and bird watching. Born in Lancaster, PA on September 4, 1932, he was a son of the late Henry E. and Frances (Gordon) Frailey. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 40 years, Barbara S. (Sayko) Frailey; two daughters, Jenna F. Nazzario and her husband, Frank, of Exton, PA and Amy F. Werkheiser and her husband, Michael, of Oceanside, CA; and is proud Pop Pop of Nicholas & Alexis Nazzario. He is also survived by two brothers, Henry E. Frailey and Robert Frailey, both of Lancaster, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Frailey. Edward's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10:30 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church. Interment will be private in Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Valley Forge National Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edward's memory to the Michael J.
