Edward J. Domenick, Sr passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 6, 2025 in King of Prussia, PA. He was 92.
Born in Wayne, PA on December 27, 1932 to Luigi and Angela (Filipone) Domenick.
Ed grew up in Radnor and was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was also member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport, PA. Ed was a graduate of Radnor High School where he excelled at baseball. Ed was offered a professional baseball contract and signed as a catcher for the Detroit Tigers but got drafted prior to having the opportunity to play a game. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Ed worked as a sales and service manager for local pool companies in the area. All those that had the pleasure of meeting Ed knew his infectious smile and twinkling blue eyes and how proud of his family he was.
Ed leaves behind his loving family including his wife of 71 years, Alice (Montemaro) Domenick, a son, Edward J. Domenick, Jr; 3 daughters, Angela Domenick, Carol Katkowski, and Lisa Salamone and her husband, Marc; 7 grandchildren: Fred, Carolyn, Shannon, Ryan, Nicholas, Gabrielle, and Ava; 12 great-grandchildren: and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Lilly Angelini and 3 brothers, Louis Sulpizio, Anthony Sulpizio, and Al Sulpizio.
Edward’s family will receive relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 9:30am to 10:20am, with his funeral mass starting at 10:30am. Inurnment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery
