Edward Joseph Reilly, Phd

Edward Joseph Reilly, PhD, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 69. Dr. Reilly received his PhD from the University of Florida and worked as a Counseling Psychologist at Villanova University until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in King of Prussia. Edward enjoyed the ocean, fishing, tennis, reading, computers, movies, music and playing the guitar. Born in Yonkers, NY on October 7, 1946, he was a son of the late David E. and Katherine “Kay” (Devine) Reilly. He met his cherished wife of 42 years, Catherine J. (Anderson) Reilly, 50 years ago at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, NY. He was the much loved father of Kimberly K. Reilly Damm and her husband, Justin, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and the late Jessica Jean Reilly. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Veronica “Ronnie” Speight. Relatives and friends are invited to Edward's Memorial Service at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 11:30 am. A reception will follow the service in the Founders Hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edward’s memory to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E.
