Edward J. Wilkes Jr.

Edward J. Wilkes Jr., passed away peacefully at Einstein Medical Center in East Norriton, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at the age of 76. He was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. Edward was a member of The United States Air Force from February 1966 to August 1969. He worked as a Financial Officer for many years at Industrial Vally Bank. Edward was a social member of VFW 7878. He was a former Township Supervisor of Upper Merion Township, and he was a former Republican Committeeman.

Born in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia on October 21, 1946, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Ruth (Henry) Wilkes.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Janet F. (Levy) Wilkes; his son, Jason Michael Wilkes (Shannon); his 2 grandchildren, Adare and Lennox; brother-in-law, Bruce Levy (Bonnie); as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to Edward’s celebration of life at the VFW 7878 471 E. Church Rd. King of Prussia, PA., on Saturday June 24, 2023, from 1:00-3:00pm.
