Edwin John Mustard Jr. passed away peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85. Ed was a resident of Valley Forge Homes in King of Prussia since 1957 and was the president of their Civic Association. He started his career with PECO at the age of 19 as an Electrician and worked his way into management of the safety department until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed cruises and traveling, especially to Aruba where he would spend 4 weeks every year. Ed was involved with local, county, state and country politics, was the judge of elections, and active with the Montgomery County Democrats. Born in Willistown Twp., PA on September 26, 1935, he was a son of the late Edwin John Mustard Sr. and Emma Elizabeth (Beck) Mustard. Ed devoted almost 60 years to his beloved wife, Nancy Langford (Cahoone) Mustard, who died in 2014. Surviving are 2 daughters, Donna Waryga and her husband Walt and Diane L. Mustard and her companion Ernest Cook; 4 grandchildren: Alisa Mathewson and her husband Jeff, Leslie Golomb and her husband Josh, Kyle Waryga and his wife Heather, and Lauren Mustard and her wife Raynelle; 11 great-grandchildren: Arden, Landen, Noah, Connor, Bryn, Taylor, Grady, Nolan, Cooper, Caleb and Charlotte; 3 sisters: Margaret Lockwood, Barbara Manion and her husband John and Carol Sparks and her husband William; many other loving family members; and Mimi, his great-grand dog who was by his side when he passed. Relatives and friends are invited to Ed’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 10 to 11:00 am; with a service from 11 to 11:30 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edwin’s memory to the Salvation Army of Norristown, 533 Swede St, Norristown, PA 19401.
