Eileen Marie Brennan Rodrique

Eileen Marie Rodrique, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Travers) Brennan was born January 28th, 1941 and ended her earthly journey on September 4th, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank D Rodrique, sons Todd J Bereda (Melissa) and Mark D Bereda (Suzanne) and her Yorkie, Turbo. Proud grandmother of James, Jessie, Kaylie, Mark and Elise, and great grandmother to Santiago.

Eileen’s friends and cousins were the siblings she never had and her grandchildren were her greatest treasures. A 1958 graduate of Upper Merion Area High School, Eileen also attended Montgomery Community College and Scottsdale Arizona Community College. She served as secretary to Upper Merion Township’s first two township managers and ended her career in 2009 as assistant public information officer for Upper Merion Township. Her passions were her family and friends, her hometown, lending a helping hand, and the arts. She was an avid gardener and voracious reader, spending hours trimming the rose bushes in the back yard. She was involved with St John’s Soup Kitchen, the senior fall fling, and numerous other community based projects.

Eileen’s life goal which she excelled at was finding something to love, admire and understand in everyone she met. To know her was truly to love her.

Private internment will occur at Valley Forge Gardens at a future date.
