Eileen T. Daly

Eileen T. Daly, 67, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 peacefully at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia. Eileen was born in Clonoe, Co Tyrone, Ireland on October 28, 1949, a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth (Hughes) and Patrick Trainor, and sister of the late Noeleen. Eileen was the first female President of the Tyrone Society and was an honorary Chairperson of Philadelphia GAA. She was the wife of Shemus T. Daly for 42 years, they were married at Saints Joseph and Mary Church in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, Ireland. Eileen is survived by a daughter, Mary Kate, wife of Ryan O'Neill, Two Grandchildren Grace & Gavin and her siblings Seamus, Marjorie, Kathleen, Maureen, Sean, Patrick, Joseph and Aidan. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing 6:30 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, February 16th at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home 507 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. Friends are also invited to her 2nd viewing on Friday, February 17th from 10-10:50 AM at St. Cecilia Church 535 Rhawn St. in Philadelphia, PA which will be followed by a funeral Mass at 11 AM. Her interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church 2000 Shelmire Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19152.
