Eileen P. Ferkler

Eileen P. (Gallagher) Ferkler passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She was 75. Mrs. Ferkler was a resident of Paoli, PA. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Glenhardie Country Club in Wayne, PA. Eileen was a member of St. Norbert Church in Paoli, PA. She was happiest spending time with family and friends. Eileen enjoyed the theatre and going to the beach. Her niece, Sarah Spross, said it best: “You were a beautiful person with an amazing ability to make everyone around you feel loved, with a smile and a laugh like no other.” Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 2, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Nellie (Mulligan) Gallagher; and the wife of the late Thomas Ferkler. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Gina Nance; 2 sons, Thomas Ferkler and John Ferkler; 10 grandchildren: George-Eric, Patrick, Kevin, Ryan, Johnny, Elizabeth, Thomas, Krista, Nathan & Michael; 5 great-grandchildren: Kimberly, Kiera, Kiley, Dylan & Sophia; and many other loving family members. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Norbert’s Church, 50 Leopard Rd., Paoli, PA 19301 on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10 to 11:00 am; with Mass starting at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA.
