Eileen J. Skinner

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Eileen J. Skinner. She died on Friday December 8, 2023, at age 81, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, PA on August 29, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Gilda Iannone. Eileen was the widow of Thomas A. Skinner to whom she was married to for 49 years. She was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. For over 33 years she was employed as a Senior Accounting Clerk at C&D Technologies.

Eileen loved spending time with her family, particularly her three grandchildren Tristan, Sophia and Evan. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit with her daughter and her family throughout the year. She loved relaxing at the beach, going to Disney World and reading mystery and romance novels. She was a wonderful cook and prepared many delicious meals and treats for her family over the years.

Eileen was a beloved Mother, Nana and Sister, she is survived by her oldest son, Thomas M. Skinner of Coatesville, PA; her daughter, Lisa A. Butler and her husband, Tim and grandchild, Evan of Wesley Chapel, FL and her son, Mark J. Skinner, his wife Kelly, and grandchildren, Tristan and Sophia of Eagleville, PA; brother, Sylvio Iannone, sister-in-law Juanita and their family who reside in Kentucky.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Eileen’s family at Holy Savior Church, 407 E. Main St., in Norristown, PA 19401 on Wednesday December 13,2023 from 10:00 to 10:50 am, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am. Officiating will be Msgr. Charles L. Sangermano, pastor. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Norristown, PA.
