Elaine Rose (Ottaviano) Notaro passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Brandywine Living at Senior Suites in E. Norriton, PA. She was 85. Elaine received her B.A. in Education from West Chester University, Class of 1959. She was a Teacher for Colonial School District for 33 years, retiring in 1993. Elaine was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Plymouth Meeting, PA. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, going overseas with her grandchildren, enjoying time at their beach house, gardening, and working out at the community center, where she got to spend time with her grandchildren and friends there.
Born in Bridgeport, PA, on May 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Inez (Marinelli) Ottaviano. Elaine was the wife of the late Stephen A. Notaro who passed away in 2020.
Surviving are her loving family including a son, Stephen J. Notaro and his wife, Olga of Plymouth Meeting, PA; a daughter, Megan L. Phucas and her companion, Rick Boyer of Fleetwood, PA; 3 grandchildren: Alexander B. Phucas, Victoria L. Colangelo and her husband, Nicholas (with a great granddaughter on the way), and Danielle M. Notaro. Also, a sister, Ines “Honey” Bawduniak and many other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Ottaviano.
Relatives and friends are invited to Elaine’s viewing at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462 on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 10:00am to 10:45am, with her Funeral Mass starting at 11:00am. Entombment will be at St. Patrick’s Mausoleum, E. Norriton, PA.
