Eleanor Catherine Jackson

Eleanor C. (nee Dougherty) Jackson passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Seaton Ocean Grove Assisted Living in Ocean Grove, NJ. She was 87 years old. Eleanor was a former and longtime resident of Gulph Mills, PA, where she loved living for so many years. She was a member of St. Thomas of Villanova Church in Villanova, PA. Eleanor was a proud alum of PennState University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She worked for many years in real estate with Century 21. Eleanor was a very active part of the Upper Merion Democrats and served as a committee person for many years. She loved the Philadelphia Phillies and was able to attend the 2008 World Series win.

Born in West Conshohocken, PA on December 25, 1937, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Bernice (nee Zagorski) Dougherty. Eleanor was also the loving wife of William C. Jackson, who passed away in 1991.

Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Jennifer DeLong and her husband, Scott; two granddaughters, Julia and Jessica; her sister, Jacqueline Dougherty Ohls; as well as many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her husband, Eleanor is preceded in death by her daughter, Adriane.

Services and interment will be private for the family.
