Eleanor C. (Spanier) Mccandleless

Eleanor C. (Spanier) McCandless passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe in Royersford, PA. She was 84. Mrs. McCandless was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a secretary for Upper Merion Area School District, where she retired in 1995. Eleanor was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA and a member of PSAR. Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Pauline (Korsch) Spanier. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 57 years, Edward M. McCandless III; a son, Edward M. McCandless IV and his wife, Debbie of King of Prussia, PA; and a daughter, Carol L. Scheponik and her husband, John of Altoona, PA.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 10:00am. Officiating will be Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, pastor. Eleanor's viewing will be Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church.
