Eleanore C. Redcay

Eleanore C. (Leflar) Redcay passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, surrounded by her loving family at the Regina Nursing Center in Norristown, PA. She was 70. Mrs. Redcay resided in W. Norriton, PA with her daughter and was previously of Norristown, PA and Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Norristown, PA. Born in W. Conshohocken, PA on January 23, 1939, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary (Nailon) Leflar. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Redcay, who died in 1999. Surviving are her loving family including two sons, the Rev. T. Christopher Redcay of Philadelphia, PA and Justin D. Redcay of Bridgeport, PA; a daughter, Kimberly A. Franzone and her husband, Samuel of W. Norriton PA; two grandchildren, Louie and Ben Franzone; a brother, John Leflar and his wife, Donna of King of Prussia, PA; a sister, Carol Interrante of Pottstown, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Ryan N. Dillon-Redcay, who died in 2005; four brothers, George, Gerald, Joseph and William Leflar; and two sisters, Marion Cauffman and Joan Leflar. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, 714 DeKalb St., Norristown, PA on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 10:00am. Officiating will be her son, the Rev. T. Christopher Redcay. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.
