Elizabeth H. (Hughes) Bennett

"Elizabeth H. (Hughes) Bennett passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Brinton Manor Nursing Home in Glen Mills, PA. She was 94. Mrs. Bennett was a resident of Wallingford, PA. She worked as a project manager for the Department of Welfare. Born in Cape May, NJ on November 24, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Hughes. She was the wife of the late David J. Bennett. Surviving is her loving family including a son, David J. Bennett of Springfield, PA; a daughter, Barbara Chappelle of Williamstown, VT; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422. www.cancer.org
