Elizabeth Joan Devine

Elizabeth Joan Devine, 90, of Roslyn, PA passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 peacefully, at Holy Redeemer Hospital, Meadowbrook.

Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Helen Anna (McGoohan) and Edward B. Devine. Predeceased by her sisters Helen Tobin and Mary Patricia Carmody.

She was a member of Queen of Peace Church in Ardsley, PA 19038 and was employed as a Supervisor at Bell Atlantic where she retired in 1989.

Elizabeth is survived by her nieces and nephews Colleen (Tobin) and Richard Skrzat, Denise (Tobin) and Thomas Garrigus, Susan Carmody, Thomas Carmody, Edward and Dianne Carmody, Maureen Carmody, Kevin and Michelle Carmody, Caroline Carmody, Christopher and Mindy Carmody, Timothy and Stephanie Carmody, Patrick and Debbie Carmody, Sean and Maria Carmody. Elizabeth is also survived by 15 Great nieces and nephews and 7 Great-Great nieces and nephews. And her dear friends Sandy Harris and Claudia White.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 9:15 – 10:15 AM and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, both on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Queen of Peace Church 820 North Hills Ave. in Ardsley, PA. Her interment will be at New Cathedral Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA or your favorite animal shelter in honor of Joan’s love of animals.
