Elizabeth Fischer Elizabeth Fischer, 57, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away on Monday, October 5th 2020, suddenly due to a heart condition, at Abington-Jefferson Health, Abington, PA. Elizabeth was born at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA on April 4, 1963, a daughter of Lauray (Parnell) Regan and the late Calvin D. Regan, Sr. She grew up in Wyncote as a child and moved to Huntingdon Valley where she went to Mount Saint Joseph Academy. She served in the U.S. Air Force prior to having children. She was a known member of the Jenkintown community and enjoyed socializing with her neighbors. She belonged to the United Methodist Church and loved volunteering at Jenkintown Food Cupboard. Volunteering at the Food Cupboard was one of the highlights of her week because she loved helping people and seeing her friends. Her infectious laugh and sarcastic humor will be missed by all who knew her. Through the Gift of Life Donor Program Elizabeth has provided hope to the many men, women and children who are in need of a lifesaving or life enhancing transplant. She is survived by her two daughters Crystal Lenahan (Christopher) and Jessica Rein, her two granddaughters Natalie Rose Lenahan and Jaina Rae Rochlin, her mother Lauray (Parnell) Regan, her two brothers Calvin Regan, Jr. (Mary) and Christopher Regan (Hillary), her four nieces Samantha Regan, Sydney Regan, Olivia Cresswell, Lillianna Regan, her mother Lauray Regan, and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation to be held October 12, 2020 from 10am to 11:30am at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Avenue, Jenkintown, PA. There will be a private (due to COVID restrictions) Memorial Service, at 11:30am, following Visitation. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
