Elizabeth C Grant

Elizabeth C. (Elsie) Grant Obituary Elizabeth C. (Elsie) Grant passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, at Shannondell. She was born in Shanghai on June 26, 1920 to the late Fortunato and Eliza Calibo. Her husband, Norman F. Grant, passed away in 1997 and her son, Alan J. Grant, also preceded her in death. She was active in St. Teresa of Avila, previously serving on the Parish Council and as a member of the choir. Elsie enjoyed music all her life, was an accomplished pianist, and for several years sang with the Sweet Adelines organization of women singers. While living in Huntsville, AL, she was an active member of the International Women’s Club. She also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. Elsie is survived by four children, Barry P. Grant, Susan E. Grant (J. Craig Bonney), Judith M. Light (John E.) and Pamela C. Nash (Tharon O.); one brother, Joseph Calibo (Edith); four grandchildren, Lauren Bonney, James Bonney, Max Nash and Ginger Nash; two great-grandchildren, Cecilia Bonney and Luke Capitan. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 South Trooper Rd., Norristown, Pa 19403.
