Elizabeth A. Halpin

Elizabeth A. (nee Bergin) ‘Betty’, 98, of Hatboro, formerly of Walnut St. in Jenkintown, passed peacefully February 21, 2019, at Wesley Enhanced Living Upper Moreland. Betty was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 15, 1920, a daughter of the late Mary (Lindsey) and Aloysius Bergin. She is predeceased by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Betty is a 1940 graduate of Hallahan High School. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A.J. Halpin Jr., Esq. Loving mother of Beth (Bill) Michuda, Charles A.J. III (the late Judy), Karen Schumacher, Tina (George Peters), Annette, Donna (Angelo Rose), Joseph (Jacque), Eileen (Mike Gillespie) and Denise (Phil Chenard). Betty is survived by 23 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one sister, Anne Lee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception BVM Church 602 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA. Interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
