Elizabeth Ann Jones

Elizabeth Ann (Newberger) Jones passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 88. Mrs. Jones was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Elizabeth was an outstanding cook. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league for many years, where she used to take her son and grandson as children. Elizabeth was a true “sweetheart.” She was her children’s best friend and one of those friends who you could talk to about anything. She most importantly adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 15, 1931, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Moore) Newberger. Elizabeth is survived by her loving family including her husband of 66 years, Jeremiah “Jerry” J. Jones; her son, William J. Jones (Donna-Joy); 2 daughters, Patricia Griffith and Karen Jones Pilcicki; grandchildren, Laura Roman (Michael), Leo M. Griffith (Marna), Scott Griffith (Alison), and Sara Karpinski Pilcicki; great granddaughters, Grace, Lily, Charla, Vanna, and Pippa. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jeff Pilcicki; her son-in-law, Leo E. Griffith; and her brother, William Newberger. The family will receive relatives & friends at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 9 to 9:50 am; with her Funeral Mass starting at 10:00 am.
