Elizabeth A. Lepping

LEPPING   Elizabeth A.  "Betty" (nee Weir) age 98 died peacefully on November 19, 2012.   Born in Phila., Pa. on December 1, 1913 to the late Robert & Elizabeth Weir.     Betty graduated from Frankford High in 1932 and married the late Carl A. Lepping in 1936.         Mother of the late Carl F. Lepping and Elizabeth Emore.  Betty is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Roberta and Charles Olson and daughter-in-law Su Lepping.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren:  Beth Olson Bartnikowski, Christine Olson DeChurch, Charles (Chas) Olson, Michele Emore Bauer, Geoffrey Emore, James Emore, Daniel Lepping and Heather Lepping and 13 Great Grandchildren.  Betty was an accomplished athlete, even trying out in Buffalo. N.Y. for the 1932 Summer Olympics.  She was employed for many years as a Case Manager with the Phila. Head Start program and as an instructor at Phila. Recreation Dept. sites.  Betty was a 70-year member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church and an active member of the seniors group at St. Dominic's for more than 30 years.   Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing Saturday November 24, 2012 from 10-11 AM and funeral mass 11 AM at St. Dominic's Church 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136.   Interment at St. Dominic Cemetery.  Services entrusted to Walter J.
