Elizabeth Ann "Betty" (Bruno) Pashley passed peacefully away on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at her residence in Limerick, PA. She was 79. Mrs. Pashley was a former resident of Collegeville, PA and Bridgeport, PA. She worked as a laboratory assistant for Merck, Sharp & Dohme in North Wales, PA for 25 years. Betty was a member of St. Eleanor Church in Collegeville, PA. She was very active in the church and a member of their choir.Born in Bridgeport, PA on December 25, 1931, she was a daughter of the late E. Michael and Elizabeth (Fusco) Bruno. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 60 years, Donald W. Pashley, Sr.; four sons: Donald W. Pashley, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Blue Bell, PA, Willis J. "Bill" Pashley of Norristown, PA, Paul R. Pashley and his wife, Janet of Collegeville, PA and Drew J. Pashley and his wife, Sharon of Collegeville, PA; three daughters: Elizabeth L. Michaelowsky of Pittsburg, PA, Rebecca A. Wilhelm and her husband, Anthony of Auburn, IN and Loreen M. Boyer and her husband, Bill of White Haven, PA; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald P. Bruno and his wife, Edith of Gwynedd, PA and Richard M. Bruno and his wife, Pat of King of Prussia, PA; five sisters, Theresa Borzillo of Bridgeport, PA, Dolores DiGiambattista and her husband, Frank of King of Prussia, PA, Lorraine Quinn and her husband, Jim of Valley Forge, PA, Eleanor Miller of State College, PA and Cecelia Redcay of Bridgeport, PA; and many nephews and nieces.She was preceded in death by a son, Mark F. Pashley, and a sister, Margaret Ottaviano.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at St. Eleanor Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426 on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00am. Betty's viewings will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 and Friday morning from 10 to 10:50am, at St. Eleanor's Church. Entombment in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to St. Eleanor Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426 and/or the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
