Elizabeth E. (Macdonald) Saxon

Elizabeth E. (MacDonald) Saxon passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Brookside Health Care & Rehab in Roslyn, PA. She was 90. Mrs. Saxon was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was an active member of Mother of Divine Providence Church and the Carmelites in King of Prussia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 18, 1920, she was a daughter of the late John and Marie (Githens) MacDonald. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Saxon, who died in 1984. Surviving is her loving family including a son, John A. Saxon and his wife, Doris of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Barbara L. Kugler and her husband, William of Willow Grove, PA; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, John MacDonald and his wife, Helen Ann of King of Prussia, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Saxon and 2 sisters, Mildred Montgomery and Helen M. Lynch. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 12noon. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 to 11:50am, at the church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
