Elizabeth V. (Sica) Scandone

Elizabeth V. (Sica) Scandone passed away peacefully on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Abington Hospice @ Warminster in Warminster, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Scandone, a homemaker, was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Belmont Hills, PA on November 4, 1923, she was a daughter of the late James and Virginia (Arnone) Sica. She was the wife of the late Salvatore J. Scandone, who died in 2007. Surviving is her loving family including two daughters, Marie Scandone of Bridgeport, PA and Patti Scandone of Huntingdon Valley, PA; a brother, Gus Sica of Belmont Hills, PA; two sisters, Virginia Pasciak of Belmont Hills, PA and Teresa Scorzetti and her husband, Dominic of Narberth, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Brandimarte, and a brother, James Sica. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 10:00am. Elizabeth's viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
