Ellen J. (Nance) Butler

Ellen J. (Nance) Butler passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2013 at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. She was 78. Mrs. Butler was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She worked as an overseas operator for the former NY Bell and also as a clerk for Peoples Cleaners. Ellen was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Norristown, PA.Born in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Martha L. (Leacock) Nance. She was the wife of the late James R. Butler, who died in 1996. Surviving is a daughter, Marie A. Kulp and her husband, Brian, of Eagleville, PA; 2 grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan; a sister, Addie F. Nance of King of Prussia, PA; and 2 nieces.Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ellen's memory to the Montgomery Co. SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
