Ellen A. McGee, 53, of Hatboro, PA passed away suddenly on May 13, 2026. Born on March 15, 1973, she was the beloved daughter of Barbara (nee Gallagher) and Paul McGee, Jr.
Ellen was known for her warm heart, caring spirit, and dedication to those she loved. Her passion for hairstyling began when she was a young girl and remained part of who she was throughout her life. After several years as a hairdresser, she opened her own salon and touched many lives with kindness, conversation, and care. Ellen also loved working as a lifeguard at the beach and the Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club, where she recently returned to begin a fulfilling position in management and event planning, an exciting new chapter in her life. She cherished her family as a loving mother, faithful daughter, loyal sister, and generous aunt. Above all, she was always willing to help anyone who asked.
Ellen is survived by her three children, Aubrey McDonough (Matthew Mahon), David McDonough, and Grace McDonough, as well as her parents, Paul and Barbara. She is also survived by siblings, Patricia O’Rourke (Michael), Bryan (Megan), Elizabeth (Brendan Hamilton), and Paul (Kathryn), as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday, May 28th from 6-8pm at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home, 507 West Ave, Jenkintown, PA. A second visitation will be held Friday, May 29th from 9:30-10:20am, followed by her funeral mass at 10:30am at St. John Bosco Church, 215 E County Line Rd, Warminster, PA.
