Elvezzio F. "Frank" Esposito passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2009, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He was 82. Frank was a resident of Havertown, PA. He worked as a machinist for the former Edward Shoe Company in Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of St. Dennis Church in Havertown, PA. Mr. Esposito was a US Navy Veteran of WW II, serving in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Born in Toughkenamon, Chester County PA on February 24, 1927, he was a son of the late Antonio and Antoinette (Pittina) Esposito. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 62 years, Sarah J. (Gattuso) Esposito; a son, Daniel F. Esposito and his wife, Linda A. of Bridgeport, PA; a daughter, Carol Ann Kash and her husband, Richard of Lansdale, PA; a brother, Edmond Esposito of Absecon, NJ; two sisters, Vera Campopiano of Lawrence Park, PA and Alba Roselli of Coatesville, PA; and many nephews and nieces. Frank was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ernest and Enrico and 2 sisters, Elda and Norma. Relatives and friends are invited to his Prayer Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St.(Route 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11:00am. Frank's viewing will be Wednesday morning from 10am to 10:50am, at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA.
