Elvira R. “Whitie” (Boselli) D'Angelis passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Sanatoga Center in Pottstown, PA. She was 96. Mrs. D'Angelis was a resident of Upper Providence, PA, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting. Whitie especially loved children, laughter, and life. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 21, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Rita (Torrieri) Boselli, and the wife of the late Ottavio J. “Tavio” D’Angelis, who died in 2011. Surviving is her loving family including 2 sons, Ottavio C. (Susan) D'Angelis of Quakertown, PA and Raymond F. (Becky) D'Angelis of Lancaster, PA; 4 daughters: Anita M. (Tony) Bearoff of Gulph Mills, PA, Carla R. (Ronnie) Cohen of Jim Thorpe, PA, Linda J. (Richard) Remer of King of Prussia, PA and Gina L. (Eric) Schmidt of Upper Providence, PA; daughter-in-law, Donna D'Angelis of E. Norriton, PA; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; a brother, William Boselli of Texas; a sister, Mary Galie of Penn Valley, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a son, George T. D’Angelis; 2 brothers, Joseph C. and John D. Boselli; a sister, Olga DeAngelis; and a grandson, Mark E. Esslinger. Relatives & friends are invited to Whitie’s viewing at St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave., Wayne, PA 19087 on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:45 am, with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Whitie’s memory to St. Jude Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
