Emil A. Scheck

Emil A. Scheck of Hatboro passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 2, 2015. He was 82. He was married to the late Christel Kuhner for 42 years and was preceded in death by his son, John. Born in Hungary to a German family that immigrated to Germany after World War II, he later immigrated to the United States where he met his wife and settled in Hatboro to raise his family. Emil worked hard his entire life starting his own construction business and teaching his son the trade. He was very involved in the German community and served as president of the F.C. Bayern. He was a proud American and a true family man. Emil is survived by children, Eva Alden (Russ), Eileen Scheck and Christel Piechoski (Carl); seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Nov. 6, at St. John Bosco, 215 E. County Line Rd., Hatboro. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emil's name to Abington Hospice, 225 Newtown Rd., Warminster, PA 18974.Joseph J.
