Emily Koppenhaver,96, of Bensalem PA passed away peacefully in her home and with her family on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Born the youngest of a family of 12 in Joliett, PA on February 20, 1929, she was the youngest daughter of the late Elmer Wolff and Mamie (Croll) Wolff.

Emily was a graduate of Tremont High School where she met her future husband, Warren Koppenhaver. After graduation, she worked as a shop clerk until her marriage to Warren in 1949, after his service in WWII. Later, moving to Philadelphia, Emily stayed home to raise her daughter Geraldine (Jane) and son, Timothy. After they went to school, she then worked on the assembly line packing cookies for Nabisco for many years. A devoted caregiver by nature, Emily lovingly cared for her husband, Warren, through his last illness. She then helped care for her grandchildren after the passing of her son, Tim. Most recently, Emily helped her daughter, Jane through her illness until her recovery.

Emily enjoyed reading, cooking and sewing for family members. She loved visiting new restaurants and playing the slots at many different casinos. She was an avid Phillies fan who watched every televised game, and she watched every Eagles game with her daughter, despite knowing nothing about football. Above all, she loved all babies, even those she didn't know, and she treasured time spent with her family.

Emily is survived by her daughter Jane, her daughter-in-law Joanne, her grandchildren Matthew and his wife Sharon, and Sarah Koppenhaver-Astrom and her wife Courtney as well as her great-grandchild Brienne Laurel.

Services will be announced at a later date, but tentatively set for her birthday, February 20, 2026, barring weather concerns.
