Emily Jean Swan, 70, of Bensalem, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Emily was the daughter of the late Glenda Elaine Burt (Arthur “Ed”) and the late Clifford Leon Hill. She was the loving mother of Glynnis Swan Smith (Michael), Edward “Eddie” Swan (Helena), and Chelsea Kpodi (John), and sister of Linda Ree Gaylord (Charles), Betty Lee Smith (Winsfield), and Clifford Hill Jr. (Mariette).

She is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Azuré Smith-Swan, Adrien Smith, Jeremiah and Josiah Swan, and Johanna and Eliana Kpodi; great-granddaughter, Skyla Mudd; nieces, Zulekha “Nicole” Nicholas (Ochan), Emily and Marsha Hill; nephews, Winsfield “Rico” Smith (Naomi), DeZier Smith-Hill (Cierra), Jeremiah and Marcellous Hill; great-nephews, Ochan and Omari Nicholas; cousins, Terri Lynn Brown (Kirt), Randy Jones (Brenda), Tasha Jones, and Teneil Ragland (Darrin); and devoted former sister-in-law, Gina Swan Smith.

She was predeceased by her uncle, Lawrence “Tinky” Jones.
