Emma F. (Daloisio) Prater passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at the Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. She was 86. Mrs. Prater was a resident of Malvern, PA and was previously of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a bookkeeper for the former Tose Company in Bridgeport, PA. Emma was a former member of both Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA and Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. She was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan and she enjoyed going to the former Valley Forge Music Fair.Born in Bridgeport, PA on March 24, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Angelo A. and Teadora (Valentini) Daloisio. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Arthur A. Prater and his fiancée, Mary Miller of Malvern, PA; a daughter, Arlene T. Auletta and her husband, Andrew of Trenton, NJ; a granddaughter, Angela Molnar; a great-granddaughter, Kylie Molnar; two brothers, Pasquale Daloisio and his wife, Kathy of King of Prussia, PA and Eugene Daloisio of Norristown, PA; a beloved niece, Maria L. McCracken and many other nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, William, Frank, Joseph and Ralph; and 3 sisters, Margherita Tyler, Louise McCracken and Ann Mastrolia. Relatives and friends are invited to her Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 1:00pm. Her viewing is Tuesday afternoon from 12 to 12:50pm, at the funeral home. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Emma's memory to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
