Enis V. (Messantonio) Praskay

Enis V. (Messantonio) Praskay passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale, PA. She was 80. Mrs. Praskay was a resident of Audubon, PA and was previously of Bridgeport, PA. She was a graduate of the former Bridgeport High School, Class of 1947. She worked for the former Johnson & Johnson and Upper Merion Middle School, both in King of Prussia, PA, retiring in 2006. Enis was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA, where she was an annual feast worker. She was also a foster grandparent in Norristown, PA. Born in Bridgeport, PA on November 4, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Caesar and Marie (Mazzarella) Messantonio. She was the wife of the late John J. "Gipp" Praskay, who died in 2005. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Mary Ann Erbe and her husband, Mark of Audubon, PA; 2 granddaughters, Christine M. & Theresa A.; two sisters, Christine "Tina" Chendorain of Jeffersonville, PA and Theresa A. Judge of Parksley, VA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Peter, Augustus, Carmen, William, Charles and Salvatore; and 2 sisters, Mildred Bolognese and Philomena Deegan. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10:00am. Her viewing will be Saturday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Entombment in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, E.
