Enrico Tufano

Enrico Tufano passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 77. Mr. Tufano was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked for 25 years as a tool & dye maker for the Philadelphia Gear Corp. Enrico was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. He loved his family dearly and lived for them. He had a passion for making wine, having learned from his father, who learned it from his father before him. Enrico enjoyed playing bocce, hunting, gardening and politics. He loved to eat, cook and being among his friends. In his later years, his life became his grandchildren whom he adored. Enrico will be sorely missed by everyone he touched. Born in Somma Vesuviana, Italy on December 7, 1933, he was a son of the late Ciro and Maria (Allocca) Tufano. Surviving is his loving family including his wife and companion of 40 years, Maria Nives (Zanon) Tufano; three sons, Ciro Tufano and his wife, Ann of Cherry Hill, NJ, Enrico C. Tufano of Lafayette Hill, PA and Mario S. Tufano of New York City, NY; two grandchildren, Enrico S. and Sofia A. Tufano; a brother, Celestino Tufano and his wife, Lidia of Pomegliano D'Arco, Italy; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Enrico's viewings will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405; also Friday morning from 9 to 9:45am, at the church.
