Ernest A. Burke

Ernest Anthony Burke passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, PA. He was 79. Mr. Burke was a resident of Gordonville, PA. He worked as a freight truck driver for Jones Motor Freight Co. and as a machine operator for Vallorb's Jewel Co., until his retirement in 1998. Ernest was a US Air Force veteran.Born in Wayne, PA on April 1, 1936, he was a son of the late Ernest and Violet (Mazzerle) Burke. Surviving is a daughter, Marie Wheatley in Richardson, Texas; a sister, Nancy Green of Media, PA.Relatives and friends are invited to Ernest's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, LTD., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2:30 pm. His viewing is Friday from 2 to 2:30 pm, at the funeral home.
