Fe Erlinda King (Nee Ang) Born 3/13/1931- 3/15/2021 Fe E. King of Newark, DE passed away on March 15, 2021 peacefully in her sleep. She had her 90th birthday get together with her family on March 13, 2021. She held on until her 90th birthday. Born in Catanduanes, Philippine Islands and lived all over the world. Predeceased by her mother Juanita Dades Turado and father Pedro Ang. Husband Francis Harold King, son Steve King, son-in-law Carlos Pacheco and grandson Shawn Patrick King, and her 3 sisters Melita Trinidad, Ledy and Aldelfa. Survived by her children: Glenn (Kathy) King of Riverside NJ Linda Pacheco of Corpus Christi, TX Yvonne Grady (Joseph) of Newark, DE Francis F. King of Jacksonville, FL. Grandchildren Brandon King (Lisa) of Mt. Laurel, NJ Christopher King of Korea Austin Pacheco of Corpus Christi, TX, great grandchildren Tyler & Layla King, Heather King, and Austin Pacheco Jr. Survived also by her sisters: Zenaida Victoria of Manila Philippines, Fe Guanzon of Gainesville FL Norma King of Bicol Philippine Islands, Julieta King of Gainesville FL Also survived by an extended loving family of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and numerous cousins both in the US and the Philippines. Fe lived in the Philippine Islands during WWII. After Pearl Harbor was attacked the Japanese invaded the Philippine Islands. Her family in order to survive had to flee their home for the mountains and nearly starved. This harrowing experience helped shaped her resolve that anything is possible in life. She had a great can do attitude. She had met her husband Frank there during the Korean Conflict and was married there. Her two sons Steve & Glenn were born there. Linda was born in Framingham, MA and Yvonne was born in Limestone, Maine (Loring Air Force base). Fe supported her husband throughout his lifetime military career in the US Army. She was actively involved with the Officer’s Wives Clubs wherever they were stationed in the world. She was a hardworking proud woman! Both her and her husband sponsored several relatives to come to America and become US citizens. She taught all four of her children how to drive. She loved playing bridge with her friends in Lanark Village, FL. Will always be remembered for picking crabs, great gusto for life, and general warm loving personality. She will be missed immensely. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
