Ferdinando “Freddie” Louis Roberto Jr. passed away peacefully, surrounded by his friends and family at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery on Friday, December 2, 2016. Freddie, who was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish and a resident of Bridgeport, passed at the age of thirty-eight. Freddie was well known in the area from his amazing personality and from years of service at Franzone’s Pizzeria and Restaurant as well as Little Sicily Pizza. Freddie loved to fish, take walks at the Valley Forge National Historic Park, and work with model trains. Most of all, Fred was devoted to his family. He adored his nieces and nephews and loved spending time with his cousins. Born in Norristown, PA on June 27, 1978, he was the son of the late Ferdinando and Kathleen (Venezia) Roberto. Surviving is his loving family including his three sisters, Christina (Peter) Lewiski of Bridgeport, PA, Stefanie Roberto of Philadelphia, PA, and Shelby Mastrocola of Bridgeport, PA; two nephews, Jordan Lewiski and Joseph Wagner; two nieces, Ava Lewiski and Cora Elvin; and his step-mother, Roxanne Roberto. Fred’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11 am. His viewings will be on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm, and also Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:15 am, both at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA. Entombment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Norristown, PA.
