Fiorina (Devincenzo) Monaco

Fiorina (DeVincenzo) Monaco passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Devon Manor in Devon, PA. She was 82. Mrs. Monaco, a retired seamstress, was a long-time resident of Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of St. Edmond's Church in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Pescopennaro, Italy on November 6, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Elpidio and Grazia (Detullio) DeVincezo. She was the wife of the late Giacinto Monaco, who died in 1993. Surviving is her loving family including two sons, Pier L. Monaco of Allentown, PA and Paul A. Monaco and his wife, Kathleen of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Maria L. Mengel and her husband, James of King of Prussia PA; four grandchildren: Jonathan Mengel, Anthony Monaco, Christina Monaco and Allison Monaco; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Msgr. Joseph Murray. Her viewing will be Monday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church.Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fiorina's memory to St. Edmond Church, 2130 S. 21st.
