Florence A. (Ashwell) Lorenz

Florence A. (Ashwell) Lorenz passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA. She was 77. Florence was a resident of Audubon, PA. She enjoyed knitting and fishing. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on April 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Clara L. (Laskey) Ashwell and wife of Paul F. Lorenz. Also survived by three daughters: Florence L. & George Mano of Phoenixville, PA, Sandra L. & Keith Metzger of Trappe, PA and Pauline F. & Martin Hunsberger of W. Norriton, PA; five grandchildren: Michelle Miller, Matthew Tucker, Deirdra Zielinski, Jared Metzger and Ian Metzger; four great-grandchildren: Hadley, Brennan & Rylan Miller and Clara Zielinski; and many other loving family members.Relatives and friends are invited to Florence's Memorial Service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Rd., Oaks, PA on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Florence A. Lorenz to the Abramson Cancer Center, 3535 Market St, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
