Florence Mary Stanish

Florence Andreoli Stanish, 82, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 peacefully at her residence. Florence was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 18, 1938, the daughter of the late Fioravando and Mary (nee Dascanio) Andreoli She was the devoted wife for 62 years of the late Nicholas J. Stanish Jr. until his passing in 2017. Florence was a hair dresser for 30 years and owned her own beauty shop in Tacony called Shear Delight. After her retirement she kept busy by preparing meals at Christ the King Rectory as she was an excellent cook. She loved Walt Disney World and went every year with her family and also enjoyed going to North Wildwood every summer. Florence is survived by her loving children Deborah and Michael (and his wife Regina). She is the Special Mom Mom of Gina Marie and Michael Jr. and she is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews and her grand-dog Arlo. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Thursday, June 10th from 9-11 AM followed by her funeral mass at 11 AM both at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd. Phila., PA 19154.
