Florence A. (Kuhna) Tomczuk

Florence A. "Flos" (Kuhna) Tomczuk passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 81. Mrs. Tomczuk was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1950. She was a member of the former Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Bridgeport, PA, where she was in the Woman's Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Upper Merion Woman's Booster Club. Flos owned and operated a corner store in Bridgeport for many years. She also worked part time at her niece's store, Bagelious in King of Prussia, PA for 18 years. Born in Norristown, PA on August 18, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Susan (Hustak) Kuhna. She was the wife of the late Frank C. Tomczuk, who died in 2013. Surviving is her loving family including two brothers, John Kuhna and his wife, Phyllis, of King of Prussia, PA and Stephen Kuhna of Owensboro, KT; four sisters: Dorothy Freed of Exton, PA, Anna Marie Lauro and her husband, Joseph, of King of Prussia, Mary Venezia and her husband, Harry, of Norristown, PA and Betty J. Warman and her husband, Lester, of King of Prussia, PA; special nieces: Mary Lou McGuigan, Linda Hansell and Teri Curran; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two sons, Frankie & Carl Tomczuk; and a brother, Michael J. "Mickey" Kuhna.Relatives & friends are invited to Flos' Funeral Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows Worship Site, 421 Coates St. Bridgeport, PA on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10:30 am. Her viewing will be Monday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the worship site.
